How to Create Text Search Index

1. Click "Add Index Folders”.

2. Select index scope(drives or folders) and file types, then click “OK” button to start creating text search index. (You may click "Add New Type" to add file types.)
The indexing and search speeds will be much faster if you just select specific folders and file types to create index.

3. Click “Index Status” to view the status of the index.
You can add, delete, view and refresh indexes here. The "Auto refresh index" setting can automatically update index every a time interval in case indexed files have some changes.

After the index is completed, the status will show as "Idle", and you may perform file search on this computer for the files that are indexed.
